China’s Internet tycoon Jack Ma plans to increase investment in the sports sector

Jack Ma, founder of China’s e-commerce giant Alibaba, said he will increase investment in the sports sector. He made the statement during a news conference with the President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Thomas Bach on Thursday in the Swiss resort town of Davos. When asked if he intends to boost investment in Chinese football, he said he was never a good football player and recalled that he once attempted to score in his own team’s net.
