In several cases, youth governance has been put on the sport policy agenda in Norwegian organized sport. Youth governance relates to that young people at the age of 26 years or younger can influence sport organizations through equal access to and involvement in decision-making.
Associate Professor Anna-Maria Strittmatter presents her study in which she examined the challenges and needs in national and regional non-profit sport organizations for strengthening youth governance.
