Rotational Training on our large Commando Board and 8.5" Half ball is perfect for board sports, kicking and hip activation. Our half balls are the perfect pivot point to practice small quarter turns and 180 degree half turns. Easily rotate your board forward and backward. Using a center placement of the half ball gives you an equal weight distribution.
Attach the Si Boards Resistance Bands to the rail of the Original boards. Find a stable table leg or object and thread the metal o-ring through the strap loop. Pull it tight and clip the band onto the ring. Do the same on the rail or rail block. The rail system allows you to attach the bands anywhere along the rail.
Fire up your core rotation. Stand facing the bands and rotate the board backward and away from the band. This will work your posterior rotation. Then stand to the side of the band and rotate the board forward and fire up the anterior muscles.
Move the half ball to the side of the board and work on leg dominance. Place the half ball under the left foot to concentrate your leg balance on the left leg. Powerfully kick, hold your position and keep the board off the ground as it recoils.
Do the same with your upper body with a push up position. Pull your elbow toward your knee to rotate the board and fire your lat muscles. Add knee drives with rotation for more challenge. Lastly complete a rotation with a full push up.
