In this video I talk about the Russian Budget figures for 2025 which includes a 9% increase in total spending despite the continued fall in income from Fossil Fuels. A whopping 40% of the budget is committed to Defense spending as a result of the ongoing war in Ukraine. This continued focus on military spending will drive up GDP however it will also have serious negative consequences for the Russian Economy and the National Wealth Fund.
