I've disabled the building animation... not sure if I'll use it for "placed" buildings or not yet. In any case that's enough of the bits and pieces done that I can start to plug in the actual simulation now. Wish me luck. I have a *vague* idea what I'm doing..... but hey that's better than no idea right!

I also switched to a smaller "tile size". Originally they were 32xYx32 voxels, now 16xYx16. Main reason is: its far less work to put the smaller buildings together!

Dorfromantik is a relaxing building strategy and puzzle game in which you place tiles to create ever-growing, idyllic village landscapes. With Dorfromantik, you can immerse yourself in a quiet, peaceful world at any time and take a break from everyday life. At the same time, Dorfromantik offers a challenge for those who are looking for one: To beat the highscore, you need to carefully plan and strategically place your tiles.

In Dorfromantik you start with a stack of procedurally generated tiles. One after the other, you draw the top tile of the stack, place it on one available slot and rotate for the best fit. Thereby groups and combinations of landscapes are formed, such as forests, villages or water bodies, and you are rewarded with points depending on how well the tile fits.

On some tiles you will also encounter special objects that give you a quest: For example, the windmill wants to border 6 grain fields, the locomotive wants to be connected to 10 tracks or the deer wants to inhabit a forest with at least 50 trees. Fulfill these quests to get more tiles to continue the expansion of your landscape. The game ends when the tile stack is used up.

As you expand the landscape, you can advance into new, colorful biomes and discover pre-placed game objects that give you long-term tasks. Through these tasks you can unlock new tiles, new biomes and new quests.

Creating An Empire
Order for your city to thrive, you must keep your citizens fed, safe, healthy, and happy. Strategically designing your city in this randomly generated world will improve your empire's chance to attract new citizens, increase your resource and food production efficiency, please your gods, and maximize safety during attacks.Fortifications and Attacks
Throughout the years your settlement will get attacked by increasingly dangerous Barbarian armies from the North as they attempt to invade and pillage your land. Even worse, as you grow you will disturb the habitats of mythological beasts such as the Hydra, Minotaur, and more.To survive, you must build walls, towers, ballistae and other types of defenses to fend off enemy attacks. Roman life revolves around the Gods. You must build temples and comply with their rules or they can quickly become hostile and ruin your crops, send devastating lightning blasts, infect citizens with deadly diseases, start horrible thunderstorms, or send beasts to destroy you.
