The hotly anticipated Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 has endured a rough launch, with players reporting ridiculously long initial loading screens lasting in some cases for hours on end.

Things are so bad that Asobo Studio’s full price flight sim, which Microsoft Game Studios published across PC and Xbox and straight into Game Pass yesterday, November 19, is now on an ‘overwhelmingly negative’ Steam user review rating. Even those who do manage to load into the game are having problems, with players reporting missing content. Also sales for Call of Duty Black Ops 6 are found out to be 86% on PS5 meaning that PlayStation 5 Pro is still carrying the COD brand and getting free money from Microsoft. This also shows why Game Pass is failing as people are not excited about signing up to a subscription service on a dead console like the XBox Series X. Also the sales are VERY high for STalker 2 but again I think this is a sign that no one wants to play games on Xbox Series X and Series S or anything on Xbox Game Pass.

Xbox Series X:
- Quality Mode: 1440p/30fps
- Performance Mode: Dynamic 1080p/60fps (common 900p)

PC: 4K Max Settings with DLSS | RTX 4080 Super / 4070Ti Super / 4070 Super / 4060Ti | 32GB DDR5 | i9 129000K


- STALKER 2 is one of the first open world games to use Nanite and Lumen for global illumination in Unreal Engine 5.
- This has a considerable impact on performance, especially on consoles.
- On the other hand, Series S has some visual cutbacks with a very similar setup to Series X's Performance mode. Most noticeable are the textures and the level of vegetation, but overall it is good visually.
- Series X fails to reach a steady 60fps in performance mode, averaging around 50fps.
- The worst performing areas are settlements with a high npc load.
- Reflections use SSR and Lumen, but most of them are not very convincing.
- On PC there is currently no option for Ray-Tracing, although it will come later.
- If the game looks too dark on your Xbox, switch to sRGB in screen settings.
- I must also remind you that the game is available on Game Pass and I recommend Eneba to buy the subscription: https://ene.ba/Analista
- As for performance on PC with the RTX 40, we can play without many problems with the settings at maximum, except for the 4060Ti, which suffers some frame drops due to lack of VRAM, so I would recommend setting the settings on high if you play at 1440p.
- STALKER 2 is a very demanding game, above Hellblade II, which causes that only a few can enjoy in its maximum splendor, but it is equally enjoyable both on consoles and PC.


- STALKER 2 es uno de los primeros juegos open world en utilizar Nanite y Lumen para la iluminación global en Unreal Engine 5.
- Esto tiene un impactio considerable en el rendimiento, especialmente en consolas.
- Por otro lado, Series S tiene algunos recortes visuales con una configuración muy similar al modo Performance de Series X. Lo más apreciable son las texturas y el nivel de vegetación, pero en general es bueno visualmente.
- Series X no consigue alcanzar los 60fps constantes en el modo rendimiento, quedándose en una media de 50fps.
- Las zonas con peor rendimiento son los asentamientos con una gran carga de npcs.
- Los reflejos usan SSR y Lumen, pero la mayoría de ellos no termina de convencer su resultado.
- En PC actualmente no hay opción para Ray-Tracing, aunque llegará más adelante.
- Si el juego se ve demasiado oscuro en vuestra Xbox a cambiad a sRGB en ajustes de pantalla.
- También debo recordaros que el juego está disponible en Game Pass y os recomiendo Eneba para comprar la suscripción: https://ene.ba/Analista
- En cuanto al rendimiento en PC con las RTX 40, podremos jugar sin muchos problemas con los settings al máximos, a excepción de la 4060Ti, que sufre algunas caídas de frame debido a la falta de VRAM, por lo que recomendaría poner los settings en alto si jugáis a 1440p.
- STALKER 2 es un juego muy exigente, por encima de Hellblade II, lo que provoca que sólo unos pocos puedan disfrutar en su máximo esplendor, pero es igualmente disfrutable tanto en consolas como PC.
