Black Myth Wukong Update 1.013 PS5 Pro Gameplay 4K HDR 60FPS Quality (60FPS)
Game Science has announced that PS5 Pro support is coming to Black Myth: Wukong on December 14, 2024 via a new update for the award-winning adventurer. Like many games that take advantage of Sony’s new console, Black Myth Wukong will utilise PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR), offering a high-definition visual experience via Quality or Balanced Mode. In addition, the game will also add 120Hz output
PS5 Pro now supports PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR). By enabling it, you can achieve a high-definition visual experience by selecting either Quality Mode or Balanced Mode in Settings.
The system supports 120 Hz Output. When enabled in Balanced Mode, it maintains a stable 40 FPS output. If you encounter any visual anomalies, you can turn it off in PS5 Settings.
Various scenes and boss fights have been optimized for better game performance.
The stability of frame rates and visual clarity in both Balanced Mode and Quality Mode have been enhanced.
The input response speed has been improved in Performance Mode.

Improve Download Speeds on PS5

If you're using Wi-Fi to connect your PS5 to the internet, you may not be getting the fastest download speeds possible. One simple trick is to change the Wi-Fi frequency band from "Automatic" to "5 GHz Only." This small tweak can make a massive difference in your download speed—some users, including myself, have seen their speeds jump from as low as 4 Mbps to over 200 Mbps. To apply this change, just go to Settings, select Network, and adjust your Wi-Fi frequency settings. This change alone can vastly reduce the time it takes to download games and updates, so it's definitely worth trying out.

Enable Late Night Mode
Playing your PS5 in the dark or during late-night hours? Adjust the brightness of the power indicator light for a more immersive experience. By going into Settings and selecting "Beep and Light," you can dim the power light or even mute the startup beep entirely for quieter, more comfortable gaming sessions. If you enjoy gaming in a dark room or prefer to avoid distractions, this feature is perfect for you.

Activate Dark Mode for Easier Navigation

If you find the PS5 menus too bright or overwhelming, there's a hidden dark mode feature that will give your system a sleek, modern look. By going into the Accessibility Settings and enabling the "High Contrast" option, you can darken the background while making the on-screen text easier to read. This is a simple way to enhance both the look and functionality of your PS5's menus.

Secure Your PS5 Account with a Passcode

Your PS5 contains valuable information, including personal data and game progress, so it’s essential to secure it. One easy way to add an extra layer of security is by setting up a numeric passcode for your account. Head to Settings, select "Users and Accounts," and set up a login passcode in "Login Settings." This will ensure that only authorized users can access your console, giving you peace of mind.

Hide Games in Your Library

If you want to keep certain games hidden from plain sight—maybe you’re not ready to uninstall them but don’t want them cluttering your library—you can hide them easily. Simply select the game you want to conceal in your library, press the options button, and choose "Hide." The game will be moved to a hidden folder, giving you a cleaner and more organized library without deleting anything.

Save Storage Space on Your PS5

Running out of storage is a common problem for PS5 users. One effective way to free up space on your SSD is by adjusting your auto-capture settings. By default, the PS5 captures videos and screenshots of all your in-game achievements, which can take up a lot of storage. To change this, go to the "Captures and Broadcasts" settings and adjust the "Auto-Capture Trophies" option to save only Platinum or Gold trophy achievements. You can also disable the "Auto-Capture Challenge Videos" feature to save even more space. These tweaks will prevent your storage from being cluttered with unnecessary files.

Maintain Your PS5’s Performance with System Maintenance
To keep your PS5 running like new, there are two key system maintenance tasks that should be performed at least once a year. First, turn off your console completely and press and hold the power button until you hear two beeps. This will bring you to the Safe Mode menu, where you can clear the system software cache. After doing this, re-enter Safe Mode and select the "Rebuild System Database" option. These steps will help your PS5 maintain optimal performance and prevent it from slowing down over time.

Activate Performance Mode for Optimal Gaming

For gamers looking to get the most out of their PS5’s hardware, activating Performance Mode is a must. This setting prioritizes higher frame rates and smoother gameplay over resolution, providing a more responsive gaming experience. To enable Performance Mode, go to "Save Data and Game/App Settings" and select "Game Presets." Change the default setting from "Game Default" to "Performance Mode" for improved performance in supported titles.

Adjust Your Video Output Settings for Enhanced Graphics

To further enhance your PS5’s video output, head to the "Screen and Video" settings. Depending on your TV or monitor, you can optimize features like Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), 120Hz Output, and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM). These settings ensure that you’re getting the best possible visual experience, with smoother frame rates and reduced input lag.

Utilize Rest Mode for Faster Updates

This allows your console to download games and updates in the background while using minimal power. This not only speeds up your download process but also ensures that your system resources are fully available for gaming when you power it back on.

Delete PS5 Search History for Privacy

If you’re concerned about privacy or just want to clear up your previous searches and suggestions, the PS5 allows you to delete your search history. SThis will completely wipe out all stored search data.
