The R7 proves to be a versatile camera that can do it all: travel, landscapes, portraits, sports, wildlife and 4k/60 video. However, it's pretty expensive, and photographers who don't shoot action might be happier with the Canon RP's full-frame sensor. Additionally, we uncovered some serious problems using the 30 FPS (frames per second) with the electronic shutter: rolling shutter! As a result, we recommend choosing the mechanical shutter for action, which is still quite fast at 15 FPS.
