Tate McRae - THINK LATER (Short Film) | Vevo Extended Play

It's a thrill to watch an artist blossom, to see them fulfill the dream of becoming an adventurous creative whose work impacts a deeply devoted audience. That's why we're tickled to continue our work with Tate McRae. Four years ago we invited the then teen to our DSCVR program, where she delivered engaging performances of "feel like shit" and "happy face." A couple years later she was back for a heart-rending piano-and-voice version of "she's all i wanna be," whose intimacy bordered on frightening. Along the way her articulation grew, her perspectives broadened, and the feels she put front and center became more powerful. YouTube channel, TikTok feed, the eloquence of each track on 'i used to think i could fly' - they all nudged her forward and deepened her relationship with her ever-grown cadre of fans. When 'THINK LATER' hit at the end of '23, it was obviously time to capture McRae in action again. Our Extended Play team worked with Tate to craft performances in settings that enhance her music and amplify her vision. The Calgary native is now an LA local, and these performances of "exes," "we're not alike," and "hurt my feelings" unfold in a shadowy SoCal bedroom where memories stand in the corners and the roller coaster of romance provides thrills both wanted and unwanted. "I think it's taken time to figure out who Tate is," says the 20-year-old, "[these days] I've really figured out what my style is, what I like to write about, what I like to feel like when I'm on stage, how I like to feel, feeling sexy in my own body...that's when I feel happiest: when I'm truly in a moment with love and friendships and relationships - when you're fully there." Cloudy June - Kiss N Tell (Live) | Vevo DSCVR Artists To Watch 2025

It takes a lot of reps to feel comfortable saying whatever you want into a microphone. Cloudy June is a prime example of that fact. “Music was one of the first things I discovered about the world,” says the Berlin native. Born and raised in the music-loving city’s Schöneberg district, Claudia Verdecia spent her childhood checking off all the right boxes. Early guitar lessons. Penning her first song before the age of 10. Falling into the SoundCloud rabbit hole. Some wild ones too, the most illustrative being her role as the frontwoman of a death metal band. In 2020, she struck out on her own with “High Waist To Hell,” a frisky synth track with dark mascara edges. The following few years have found this Rihanna and Judas Priest fan honing in her coquettish lyrics while expanding her genre sandbox on “Masterpiece” and “FU In My Head.” The arrival of her debut album, ‘Crazy Woman,’ seemed like the perfect opportunity to pounce on this 21st century pop princess (IYKYK). So we invited her to our London DSCVR studio to be a part of the 2025 Artists To Watch class. In the last decade no rapper has been on a more sustained heater than Future. With ‘Dirty Sprite 2’ and ‘What a Time To Be Alive,’ the Atlanta native changed the sound of mainstream hip-hop. With ‘HENDRXX’ and ‘Beast Mode 2,’ he took the mask off and crowned himself the Toxic King. This reign continues as “WAIT FOR U,” with Drake featured and Tems sampled, currently dominates radio. His new ‘I NEVER LIKED U’ album is further evidence that his artistic identity is broad and complex. The title comes off like a juvenile text response to being left on read. But it’s also a defensive phrase, a means of shielding true emotions. Future gets away with minimal interviews and a furtive social media presence because he wisely builds a gripping mythology into his music...and because he’s so damn prolific. So who is he? Check the music for answers. The 20-plus albums he’s made in a decade are diary entries, and like any autobiography the lines between truth and fiction get blurry. Like many, we’ve been fans for a while, previously capturing Official Live Performances with him in 2019. When it was determined we should run it back, the Vevo crew linked with Future in Miami, a city that embraces glitz and healthy hedonism. Perfect match all around. At this point, you’ve probably caught the vibe with his previous three performances - “PUFFIN ON ZOOTIEZ,” “JUST THE BEGINNING,” “BACK TO THE BASICS.” This one’s a great closer, a wavy spin around the parking lot that sends you off into the night.
