Is Older Call of Duty Better or is it Just Nostalgia?

Older Call of Duty games are often heavily praised and used as a comparison to show the faults of more modern CoDs but are those old game actually better or is it just nostalgia? Today I share what I feel Call of Duty does better in newer titles vs what I feel the franchise did better in the early days. What's your take on this? Are older CoDs actually better?
