Sitges is a popular beach town close to Barcelona. We came to Spain to spend the winter in a mild climate, to enjoy long walks and al fresco lunches in the sun - not really to find a place to settle down. Having lived in Spain before, we weren’t considering it for a longer term stay. But then we spent 3 weeks in Sitges Barcelona and we loved it - a LOT. Bald and Bankrupt is always showing Eastern Europe, but in this video I bring you to the abandoned ghost villages of Western Europe - this time in Northern Spain. It's hard to believe there are places like this in Western Europe (Asturias Spain) in 2022.. Whilst on the Camino de Santiago I discovered several desolate and empty ghost towns/villages where some people still inhabit the villages.
