Deadpool & Wolverine could have massive implications for the MCU's multiverse, but it could also set up a threatening villain for Doctor Strange 3. The MCU's multiverse continues to expand with projects like Spider-Man: No Way Home, Loki, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, exploring the concept of the multiverse, and bringing in characters from other Marvel universes. The multiverse will grow even larger in Deadpool & Wolverine, as Fox's X-Men characters crossover into the MCU. The film could have massive implications for the multiverse, setting the stage for Avengers 5.

One project that could explore the multiverse further is Doctor Strange 3, but the sequel's status is still unconfirmed. However, the MCU delivered a massive cliffhanger in Doctor Strange 2's post-credit scene with the arrival of Charlize Theron's Clea. Doctor Strange's MCU story is not over, and if there is another sequel, the villain will likely be a multiversal threat. According to a theory, Deadpool & Wolverine could introduce who Doctor Strange could fight in his next chapter.

Venom has been the saving grace of Sony's Spider-Man Universe of movies, and Venom: The Last Dance has a shot at becoming the most badass entry in the trilogy. Venom became the star of the Sony Spider-Man Universe in 2018, when the first movie starring Eddie Brock, played by the spectacular Tom Hardy, hit theaters. Since then, the SSU has had some issues with their other entries, including Venom: Let There Be Carnage, which have all consistently gotten negative reviews and dwindling returns at the box office (via The Numbers).

Aside from the Spider-Verse animated movies, the SSU has suffered from a lack of strong characters and storylines that end up going nowhere, but Venom 3 could change that. The Last Dance will see Venom's past catching up to him, with other symbiotes coming to Earth. But, if they choose to include Venom's origin story with the incredibly powerful Knull, it could be one of the most impressive SSU movies of all time.

With only a few months left until the video game adaptation arrives, the latest news comes in the form of a second trailer for A Minecraft Movie. Highlighting the origins of Steve, the trailer recaps how the imaginative kid grew up to be the adult living in the Overworld. He's eventually joined by the other main characters, and they learn that evil forces are intent on destroying the world. A series of action-packed sequences are teased, and the trailer concludes with the infamous nighttime aspects of the game, including zombies and arrow-slinging skeletons.

A Minecraft Movie is set to release on April 4, 2025. This will come almost two years after the production of the movie begins. Production was slated to begin on August 7, 2023, in New Zealand, but shifted to spring 2024. This delay was due to the SAG/AFTRA strike which saw a majority of Hollywood productions halted as actors fought for fair wages. According to a post by Jason Momoa in April 2024, A Minecraft Movie wrapped filming.

Defensive jocking is when the defender contains the attacker to find the right time to steal the ball.

In the first jocking exercise, the attacker is shielding the ball. Two players play one v one, the attacker is holding the ball, the defender waits until the moment where they can steal it.

Key factors to jocking if the attacker is shielding the ball. Be close enough so that you can touch the attacker. Give yourself an angle, not square on. Bad angle, good angle. You want to be able to stay low and change directions quickly.

In this second exercise, the attacker is dribbling towards the defender in a zig zag pattern. The defender wants to stay goal side of the ball and change directions quickly when the attacker cuts. Waiting for the moment where the attacker hits the ball a little bit too far in front of them. At this point, they can go for the steal.

To be a top player, you have to be able to play on both sides of the ball and jocking will really help your defending.

Acceleration is key to allow you to reach your top speed faster. In football/soccer the races that happen during a match are often on average over shorter distances of 10-15 meters. Even if your top speed is faster than your opponent, if you don't have good acceleration, you may get beaten to the ball if they have better acceleration. With these simple drills, you can improve your acceleration and become quicker off the mark.

1. Forwards to backwards shuttles: 3 sets of 3 reps
2. Circle shuffles to acceleration: 3 sets of 3 reps
3. Kneeling jumps to 20 yard sprint: 3 sets of 5 reps
4. Single leg plant to 20 yard sprint: 3 sets of 6 reps (3 each leg)
5. Resistance cable forwards to backward shuttles 3 sets of 10 reps.

* If you don't have a resistance cable, do the same activity without the cable. Simply shuttle backwards and forward retrieving and returning the cone. 3 sets of 10 reps.
