Spend time roaming ‘Planet Her’ and you’ll know that Doja Cat’s artistic vision never sleeps. The singer’s desire to develop rich musical and visual environments for her fans is job one, and this new album, her third after ‘Amala’ and ‘Hot Pink,’ is her most fully-realized statement yet. Doja has told interviewers that she wanted to take chances, try new approaches, and create “otherworldly” sounds. Job done. The same goes for our series of Official Live Performances. After sharing creative ideas with the singer and her team, our production crew got to work in a canyon outside of LA. There, assuring that “otherworldly” request was appropriately fleshed out, we built a 48’ stage in the center of a rocky crag. Doja, banking on a combo of skills, artistry, and perseverance, did the rest. We've already presented "Love To Dream" and "Ain't Shit." Now comes the carnal coolness of "Need To Know." Doja shows us her boss side as she drives all the action in this steamy bedroom rumination, and her lithe Cali desert performance makes it all pop.

Bryant Barnes delivers scorching emotions with icy ease. His debut project, ‘VANITY,’ is like an Arctic glacier: beautifully complex, ever-changing, and a little bit dangerous. Those who have explored its curves and edges are left with a profound connection to murky and plaintive tracks such as “Don’t Want A Love Song,” “Adore You,” and standout piano ballad “I’d Rather Pretend.” As with natural phenomena, Barnes’ burgeoning popularity is the result of smaller but equally important moments in time; one doesn’t earn millions of views on TikTok and YouTube in a vacuum. Born in Texas, young Bry spent his childhood moving between states. The only constant was music, starting with classical piano lessons at the age of six. Jess Glynne - Promise Me. An exclusive live performance for Vevo.

Jess Glynne has little problem being heard. In the past decade, the singer has captained a handful of pop-EDM hits. Consider 2015’s ‘I Cry When I Laugh’ and 2018’s ‘Always In Between’ albums. The former contained the jaunty smash “Hold My Hand,” a track that instantly induces head bobs and toe taps. Don’t forget the somber “Take Me Home” and raucous “Don’t Be so Hard on Yourself.” That threesome alone has been played 1 billion times on Spotify. Easy to get complacent with those numbers. Instead, the London native decided to carve more depth into her craft, and was rewarded with her wildly successful follow-up “I’ll Be There,” which had folks crying in the club. Plus: her “These Days” collab with Macklemore and Rudimental spent seven weeks at number two on the charts (if not for “God’s Plan” it would’ve triumphed). So yes, there’s a big appetite for Miss Glynn. The six-year wait for her new ‘JESS’ album has only heightened that hunger. “Promise Me” is the last track on the album, and the first release from our sessions with her. It strips things back, revealing how the key to her success is the power of that voice. Meanwhile, her “Say No” performance elevates the ballad’s recorded version. Both are great. We’re partial to this one, though, purely off those vocal flourishes.

Charlotte Plank - Ellen | Vevo DSCVR Artists To Watch 2025

“I was born in Australia with my parents being in the rave scene there,” Charlotte Plank recently recounted on our DSCVR Artists To Watch 2025 set. “My uncle was a DJ. So I was brought up in a lot of ravey, acid house music.” The Brit producer/singer’s musical journey is a cool spin on the familiar story of parents as primary tastemakers for their kids. It’s just that not a lot of moms and dads are blasting 808 State at the crib. Unsurprisingly, Plank herself turned into one cool cat, first becoming a disciple of Rudimental and Amy Winehouse, before immersing herself in the UK dance scene, before eventually plying her own craft. During the pandemic she built beats on Logic. Early releases like “Lost Boys” and “Hate Me” showed her skillful hand at the flurrying sounds of drum and bass. Plank also casts a wide net, as best demonstrated on her debut album, 2023’s ‘InHer World,’ which grabs pieces of indie rock riffs, jazz, blues, and hyperpop. We particularly love that she considers herself “a writer, before anything else.” In the midst of the genre’s mad energy, Charlotte’s voice has a way of cutting through the fray. It’s probably because she’s the rare EDM artist who has something to say with lyrics. Surely, the Plank parents are already cheering on their girl. After all, she’s checked off one dream by collaborating with Rudimental on “Dancing is Healing.” These performances of “Ellen” and “Stargirl,” which transformed our studio into the club, will only increase their pride.

Towa Bird knows that angst manifests in many forms. From the romantic, to the economic, to the existential, the rising indie rocker with Filipino and English roots speaks to all forms of anxieties with a precision that only comes with personal experience and a sharp pen. It’s all there on her debut album, the cheekily titled ‘American Hero,’ which Rolling Stone recently named one of the 100 best from 2024. Its tracks range in areas of concern. “Sorry Sorry” sticks out the stiff arm to an unfortunate friend who wants to be more than that; the jangly “B.I.L.L.S.” rails at paying rent and wider pitfalls of capitalism. Fan-fave “Drain Me!,” meanwhile, lets the endorphins flow a bit. Longtime Towa fans know that the guitar is her first musical ally, having been inspired by the Kinks and Jimi Hendrix as a kid. Raised in Hong Kong, Towa would cut her teeth playing street festivals and dive bars around the massive city. Eventually she started posting covers to YouTube, which extended her reach more than a bit. “Having guitar-centered music… it’s always been my focus,” she explained to us. Tyler, The Creator and Willow Smith have given Towa daps for her celebration of queer experiences and reimagination of what energetic rock music can look like in the LGBTQ+ space. No surprise, more like-minded artists have joined the fan club. This fall, Towa joined Billie Eilish on tour for a handful of dates. “Hehe im nerv,” she wrote on Insta - vulnerable in her worry yet ready for the challenge as always. The Towa mindset is one we can all take to heart.

Haciendo de tripas corazones, convirtió el robo de su disco ‘Feliz Cumpleaños Ferxxo:Te Pirateamos el Álbum’ en todo un evento que le consiguió su primer Top 10 en la lista Billboard Latin Albums y una gira todo vendido. Su sexto álbum de estudio, ‘Mor, no le temas a la oscuridad’, se convirtió en el más grande de su carrera, debutando en el No.4 en la lista Billboard Latin Albums. The Colombian musical phenomenon is unleashing the FERXXOCALIPSIS Tour 2024, a groundbreaking musical journey that promises to showcase his energy, dynamic stage presence and hit songs, solidifying his position as a power player in the Latin music scene. Produced by Live Nation, FERXXOCALIPSIS Tour 2024 is set to start in Sacramento on April 24 at the Golden 1 Center and will take Feid across major cities from coast to coast, offering fans a chance to experience his music live. The tour coincides with the release of the album by the same name, which was released by surprise in December.

La ciudad costera de La Serena en Chile no necesariamente es conocida por su escena de música urbana, pero FloyyMenor llegó a cambiar esto rápidamente. La carrera del reggaetonero de 18 años comenzó apenas en el 2023 con “Pa’ la Europa”, canción que le trajo al chileno interés internacional. Pero, nadie pudo predecir el éxito masivo de “GATA ONLY”. Lanzada a principios del 2024, la colaboración con Cris Mj causó un bullicio y arrasó con las listas de reproducción hasta llegar llegar al #1 en la lista Hot Latin Songs de Billboard. La colaboración permaneció 13 semanas consecutivas en la lista, haciendo de Floyy el primer artista chileno en llevarse el reconocimiento desde 1999.
