About this video: We are covering how to become a great soccer player in this video by focusing on something specific.

The main issue with players when they are trying to improve is that they go too broad. They try and improve every area equally or spend an equal amount of time working on each area which just isn't practical.

You only have so much time for soccer training. Every minute you spend doing one thing is time spent not doing something else.

That's why, for the main part, you want to focus on working on your strengths and getting them to a point where you are masterful at them.

I'm not saying never work on your weaknesses, I'm saying that you need to use your time wisely and certain practices are going to help you improve more than others.

In this soccer video we demonstrate how to position your wall as a goalkeeper. It's important to set up a strategic wall of players, to help you block free kicks from the opposite team.

When positioning your wall, it's usually better to not stay in the center of the net. Instead, you want to position yourself on one side of the net, to prevent the incoming free kick from entering the net.

The best technique is to go near your goalpost and align your wall of players from there. You can gauge and make sure that your players are well aligned with the ball. Once they get your approval, your teammates will turn around to face the players of the opposite team.

Since the players will be covering that side of the net, the goalkeeper can cover the other portion of the net.

These soccer goalkeeping tips should help reduce the chances of getting a goal scored against your team.

Don't underestimate this soccer tutorial. Free kicks can be extremely dangerous and can change the outcome of a game. Make sure you train this with your teammates to experience it before hand in a practice, rather than making experiments in real games.
