Finally, there it is, the free version of my FPS weapon system is out !
! Here's the general informations about the asset, all the informations can be found on the readme of the Github repository : https://github.com/Jeh3no/Godo....t-Simple-FPS-Weapon-
This asset provides a simple, fully commented, weapon system for FPS games.
A test map with a shooting range as well as a character controller are provided (the character controller is another asset i made some mounths ago : https://github.com/Jeh3no/Godo....t-Simple-State-Machi
The weapon system is resource based, designed to easely customize weapons.
The weapons are monitored by a weapon manager, designed to easely add/remove weapons to the game.
Each component of the weapon (shoot, reload, animation, ammunition) has his own script, neatly arranged in separate compartments.
The asset is 100% written in GDScript.
Of course, the code has been written in a way to be easely understandable and modifiable/editable, and he's as well fully commented.
He works perfectly on Godot 4.4, and should also works wells on the others 4.x versions (4.3, 4.2, 4.1, 4.0), but you will have to remove the uid files.

FILM DESCRIPTION:
Judd Apatow casts his former real-life roommate Adam Sandler as George Simmons, a comic superstar who learns in the movie's opening scene that he suffers from a rare blood disorder that will likely kill him within a year. This news gives him the impulse to go back out and work on his standup, something he hasn't done in years thanks to the massive success of his movie career. At a club, he meets struggling standup Ira Wright (Seth Rogen), takes a shine to him, and hires the young man both to write jokes and to be his personal assistant. Ira, who's been sleeping on a friend's pull-out couch and working a day job at a deli, enjoys the glimpse into the superstar lifestyle, but soon the protégé discovers how selfish and egocentric his mentor really is. Jason Schwartzman and Jonah Hill, and a host of famous standup comics make cameo appearances as themselves.
