Pentatonix - Kiss From A Rose. An exclusive live performance for Vevo.
There's incredible and then there's INCREDIBLE. Probably best to file Pentatonix under the latter version, the all-caps one. Because that's the jaw-dropping one, and that's what the skills of the esteemed vocal group make happen every time they perform. The award-winning ensemble's music has been blowing minds with its inspired arrangements, advanced harmonies, and sage dynamics for years now - their first album arrived in 2014. But as fans around the world know, they have a special focus on holiday tunes. When Mitch Grassi, Kirstin Maldonado, Scott Hoying, Kevin Olusola and Matt Sallee unite their voices, the spirit of the season becomes ultra vivid. Just check the 'Greatest Christmas Hits' album to truly get in the holiday vibe. From "Dance of the Sugar Plums" to "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch," they address all of those emotions that bubble up at the end of each year. Seal's "Kiss From a Rose" is on the new album, too. We had the PTX peeps into our studio to run through that classic, and yes, they once again blew minds. See for yourself.

Bryant Barnes - Is This Love To You | Vevo DSCVR Artists To Watch 2025
Bryant Barnes delivers scorching emotions with icy ease. His debut project, ‘VANITY,’ is like an Arctic glacier: beautifully complex, ever-changing, and a little bit dangerous. Those who have explored its curves and edges are left with a profound connection to murky and plaintive tracks such as “Don’t Want A Love Song,” “Adore You,” and standout piano ballad “I’d Rather Pretend.” As with natural phenomena, Barnes’ burgeoning popularity is the result of smaller but equally important moments in time; one doesn’t earn millions of views on TikTok and YouTube in a vacuum. Born in Texas, young Bry spent his childhood moving between states. The only constant was music, starting with classical piano lessons at the age of six. High school orchestra and a stint with the cello further honed his omnivorous skills. Inherently, he began to mix in personal taste. XXXTENTACION, Mac Miller, and Joji songs suited the somber and smooth glide of his own voice. These covers and more exploded on social media. Like most of Gen-Z, Barnes moonlights as a master self-marketer. His airport piano rendition of Hans Zimmer’s modish ‘Interstellar’ theme has likely scrolled onto your phone screen. “You have to take yourself seriously as an artist for other people to follow your vision,” he divulged at the Artists To Watch 2025 shoot. Wise advice. We’re pretty serious about our own vision: seeing the name Bryant Barnes up in lights for a long time.

keshi - Glimpse of Us. An exclusive live performance for Vevo.
The last time we worked with keshi was in 2020 for our DSCVR At Home series, which brought live performances to the masses during lockdown. Back then, supporting his hushed ballad “More,” we hinted that an album was in the works. Next week it finally arrives. The versatile singer/rapper/producer asserts that ‘Gabriel’ is about his “life at the moment; it’s very honest and candid.” That latter word certainly describes “GET IT,” a boldly bumpin’ and lyrically brash track that announces keshi is yet again pushing the boundaries of his craft. As he goes through his checklist - “Got my money (Check) / Lady (Check) / Rollie (Check) / Mary (Check)” - it’s easy to see this is an artist whose confidence is sky high. He brought that authority to our studio, too, reeling in the swag a bit and adding a pinch of earnestness. “ANGOSTURA” dives even deeper into his R&B bag. Then there’s “LIMBO,” which proves he’s willing to throw an acoustic guitar over his shoulder and belt falsettos. Closing things out with a cover of Joji’s heartbreaking hit “Glimpse of Us” was a cool hat tip to the current strength of Asian-American artists shaping the alt-pop space. Mr. Versatile strikes again.

Ela Taubert - ¿Para Qué? (Live).
Colombian singer-songwriter Ela Taubert is destined for stardom – there’s no doubt about it. More than just a new “It Girl” in Latin pop, Ela has turned her art into a safe space for listeners to explore the stories, conflicts and raw feelings involved with the matters of the heart. In her first project, ‘¿Quién Dijo Que Era Fácil?,’ the composer hits the mark with gut-wrenching descriptions of heartbreak and the whirlwind of vulnerability of adolescence. Frenetic guitars and bright melodies provide a shot of rock ‘n’ roll to the mix, harkening to Shakira, Reik and the golden era of Latin pop during the early aughts. “When [fans] hear my songs, I think the most important thing is that they feel less lonely,” Ela says. “I think that’s the gift that we can do with music.” Her intimate concert series Nuestro Refugio is a reflection of the rapport and closeness she has achieved with her fans along the way. Her tenacity and charisma has paid dividends, with Karol G tapping Ela for an opening slot on her Bogota stop of the Mañana Será Bonito tour. As the most recent winner of Premios Juventud’s New Generation - Female category, Ela seems poised to take the crown. The rising star dominated our DSCVR stage with her undeniable spark and chutzpah during her live performance of “¿Para Qué?” and “¿Cómo Pasó?” and we are thirsty for more.

LETRA
Prometimos tenernos para siempre
Qué raro se siente
Lo que nunca se cumplió
Según tú
El amor no es suficiente
Y lograste convencerme
Tienes algo de razón
Y ahora me vuelves a buscar
A decirme que estás listo
para volver a empezar
Si fuiste tú
El que se fue para olvidarme
Para ti
Siempre he sido reemplazable
Fuiste tú el que no quiso quedarse
Y ahora vienes a extrañarme
Cuando no supiste amarme
Ya es demasiado tarde
¿Por qué
Te dio por querer volver?
¿Dime cómo voy a creer
Que no vas a irte otra vez?
Por algo no funcionó
Las cosas no siempre se arreglan
Déjame seguir
Ya no vuelvas más
Si fuiste tú
El que se fue para olvidarme
Para ti
Siempre he sido reemplazable
Fuiste tú el que no quiso quedarse
Y ahora vienes a extrañarme
Cuando no supiste amarme
Porque ya es demasiado tarde
No supiste amarme
Yo sí te quería
Y tú querías alejarte
No supiste amarme
Es demasiado tarde
Yo si te quería
Y tú querías encontrarme
En otra parte
Fuiste tú
El que se fue para olvidarme
Para ti
Siempre he sido reemplazable
Fuiste tú el que no quiso quedarse
Y ahora vienes a extrañarme
Cuando no supiste amarme
Fuiste tú el que no quiso quedarse
Y ahora vienes a extrañarme
Cuando no supiste amarme
Ya es demasiado tarde

"All of Me” by John Legend live from VEVO Go Shows
Listen to John Legend: https://found.ee/JohnLegend_Listen
John Legend performed live in New York City in December of 2013 as part of VEVO GO Shows series. With just piano and voice he enchanted a throng of people at Manhattan's Standard Hotel. The patrons were uninformed that the show was going to take place, and their surprise is evident. The song is "All Of Me," from Legend's 2013 album 'Love In The Future.' Parts of the show were shot with the Sony QX100 Lens-style camera.

Demi Lovato: Tell Me You Love Me (Vevo X Demi Lovato)
Demi Lovato loves to perform, and their songs invariably offer fans a deep impact when they step in front of a mic. To celebrate the arrival of their sixth studio album, ‘Tell Me You Love Me,’ the pop superstar put together a large ensemble that brought true emotional power to the record’s title track and “Sorry Not Sorry.” Superb instrumentalists, a full-on choir, Demi’s amazing voice leading the charge – the two new performances in our ‘Vevo X Demi Lovato’ session find them reimagining the tracks from the ground up. They introduced them to the world on ‘Vevo Live: Demi Lovato,’ where they also chatted with fans and explained how ‘Tell Me You Love Me’ was made. The album was released on September 29.

Imagine Dragons - Eyes Closed | Vevo Extended Play
Our Extended Play series is tailor made for a band like Imagine Dragons. On the one hand, the pop-rockers' scale and ambition can barely be contained by the stadiums they regularly sell out. For the group behind ubiquitous hits like “Thunder,” “Radioactive,” and “Believer,” success is measured in millions and billions. Such impact can feel impenetrable, but our performance-interview series is all about pulling back the curtain a bit. And on the other hand there’s singer Dan Reynolds. An open book, he’s the band’s primary songwriter, and a fascinating one at that. We saw that up close when we linked up with ID at Conway Studios, where Reynolds, guitarist Wayne Sermon, and bassist Ben McKee created their latest album, ‘LOOM,’ under the guidance of producers Mattman & Robin. Their Extended Play spin on "Eyes Closed" let's you know how passionate they can be in performance. Inventive, too. Hang tight - more performances and a revealing interview is on the way.

The Beaches - Edge of the Earth. An exclusive performance for Vevo.
Ever watch a billowing cloud morph from a face to a piece of popcorn to an elephant? That’s what it’s like listening to The Beaches, the guitar-driven indie rock crew who hail from Toronto but sound like they could’ve elbowed The Strokes backstage at a mid-aughts Webster Hall show or shared a Troubadour bill with The GoGo’s in 1980. The Miller sisters comprise half the band - Jordan on lead vocals and bass, Kylie on guitar. As starry-eyed teens, the sibs had a group with drummer Eliza Enman-McDaniel. When guitarist Leandra Earl joined in 2013, they officially dubbed themselves The Beaches. In 2017, indie rock fans welcomed the punchy verve of debut album ‘Late Show,’ which made it clear that these Canadians liked to stomp it up. Last year’s ‘Blame My Ex’ keeps all the angular guitar riffs and synth candy in place, but adds pop craft. The quasi title track “Blame Brett” pulls off the rare feat of being both a lovable TikTok soundbite and a full-fledged alt radio hit. If you’re in the crowd at any of The Beaches two-dozen-plus shows this spring in ‘24, you might catch Jordan crooning like Robert Smith in their patented “Boys Don’t Cry” cover. “Edge of the Earth” is a setlist staple, too. Easy to see why.

Miguel - Always Time | Vevo Extended Play
Miguel has always been a couple steps ahead of the game. That’s the reason his progressive brand of R&B remains just as fresh now as it did in 2010, when the smooth-singing Los Angeleno eased onto the scene with ‘All I Want Is You.’ Aging like fine wine, “Sure Thing” remains a top shelf classic thanks to ingenious sound design and sexual panache. Two years later, ‘Kaleidoscope Dreams’ foretold the experimental and gritty production style that would come to dominate groove music throughout the decade. “Adorn” and “How Many Drinks?” (and honestly most of Miguel’s repertoire) remain ultimate bedroom jams. By the time ‘War & Leisure’ arrived in 2017, dude had all the cool kids - Travis Scott, Kali Uchis, J. Cole, Kacey Musgraves, and Tame Impala - on speed dial. So what does one do having already built a mansion on an entire genre’s mountaintop? Well, it’s always a good idea to come down and show off your bona fides. Enter our Extended Play series, which distilled his 2024 single, “Always Time,” down to the essentials: Miguel, a microphone, and a voice that continues to lead the way.

KATSEYE - Debut | Vevo DSCVR Artists To Watch 2025
In the year of the girl group comeback, KATSEYE stands out from the pack as the global crew. There’s Daniela, Lara, and Megan from the States. There’s Swiss singer Manon repping Europe, Sophia waving the flag for the Philippines and Yoonchae from the pop group Mecca of the past decade, South Korea. It’s a novel concept, developed via a tried and true method - a talent contest. The six gals were the finalists of The Debut: The Dream Academy. Afterwords, the real work started. “We were training 10 to 12 hours a day,” recalls Lara. They also moved in together. “We became sisters,” says Manon. Months of dance training and singing sessions culminated in the aptly titled “Debut.” A swaggering bassline matches the pop confection’s main announcement: KATSEYE is the result of detailed planning, but the energy is all natural. “We ain’t flexing, babe we do what we do.” Perhaps more impressive is second single, “Touch.” Having arrived in July, it boasts more than 170 million Spotify streams and 60 million-plus views for the whirlwind video. Those are phenomenal numbers. So much so that we had to jump in on the rapidly-ascending ground floor. That fans are going to go crazy for these performances might be the easiest prediction we'll make this year. Sitting together on the DSCVR stage, this constellation of six young stars giggled in anticipation about 2025 plans. A couple even got goosebumps, a sensation that many viewers will certainly share.
