This video showcases a few different features the new "Playtime Start Kit" project includes. Stuff like levers, batteries, buttons, and various puzzles. It's quite buggy rn, but I'm working on fixing it and adding more features!
This new project, which is fully releasing sometime this month, contains many features that "Grabpack In Godot" failed to deliver on. From custom hands and grabpacks, to built in monster ai templates, this new project will be the go-to tool for getting started when creating Poppy Playtime fangames with the Godot engine!

Today we are going to check out not one, not two, but FOURTEEN! free and open-source add-ons for the Godot game engine. These are all released under the MIT open-source license by Cozy Cube Games and work with Godot 4.3+. They are implemented using GDScript language. Some extend the editor itself with great functionality like Gizmo toggling/presets, while others add new visual nodes to Godot like 3D Line/Trails, Area3D Lights and Light shafts.

Learn how to add objects you can interact with in your game project in Godot 4 using RayCasts, GD Script and a lil bit of reusing old videos-- magic, I meant magic! We'll not only create interactive buttons and doors, but also dabble with moving platforms, keys and chests too. Hey, does it bother anyone that Zelda games have keys in chests, when it should be keys opening chests instead?

In this series I'm going to be going over everything you need to know in Godot 4 to create your own Godot games so after you can go off and make Godot games on your own. I know you will learn so much from this series and I'm very exited to teach it. In this episode we are going to go over how to use and create tilesets in godot 4, many things have changed with the tileset node in godot 4 and it is honestly much better in godot 4 than the tileset system was in godot 3.

Hello Godotneers! In this second part of our particle systems video series we are going to explore 3D particle systems. We're going to learn the basics of how particle systems work in 3D and how we can build effects like fire and rain. We'll have a look at particle attractors, how to make particles collide with the environment and how to use sub-emitters to create more complex effects like rain splashes. There is also a project for you to follow along, so fire up Godot and have some fun exploring particle systems in 3D!

Want to build your own 2D pixel art action RPG in Godot 4? Start here!
In this first video we'll start building a 2D action RPG Character from the ground up using Godot 4. This series is perfect for you if you’re already familiar with basic programming concepts (like variables, functions, and control flow) but new to Godot 4.
You'll learn how to:
- Set up Godot 4 and navigate its interface
- Configure your project for pixel-perfect visuals
- Create your first character using CharacterBody2D
- Add sprite graphics and basic movement with GDScript
- Navigate Godot's scene system and use its composition to your advantage
- Use Godot’s official documentation
By the end of this first lesson, you'll have a playable character moving around the screen. In future videos we'll set up animations, collisions, and combat.
